Susannah and me – Part 1

I was saddened to read of the recent death of Susannah York. She was, in my view, one of the most beautiful actresses of her generation. With stunning blue eyes, blonde hair and a beatific smile she epitomised the idea of the classic English Rose. I lusted after her in such films such as Tom Jones, The Killing of Sister George, The Battle of Britain, They Shoot Horses Don’t They, and Gold.
